It's very easy for developers to make the application GUI skinnable with AppFace . The kernel components - appface.dll is a stardand windows dynamic library.It performances all the hard skinning works. Everyone who has the base knowledge of Win32 can call the dll's interfaces easily .

Step 1

Copy appface.dll and the URF skin files to your project folder

Step 2

The interface functions' prototype and the decarlation samples for VC,VB,Delphi,BCB,VB.Net,C#.Net exist in AUDK manual, you can copy them to your projects directly .

Step 3

There are total ten interface functions for appface.dll ,but two lines source code are enough to make your software skinable!

Call the below line after copied the needed files and decarlation in the project,
SkinStart("c:\yourpath\yoururf.urf",0,0,1,0,0)

Call the below before terminated the process,
SkinRemove()

Compile ... the application GUI skinnable work is done !
